R0150-1 - ACPP1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 45 I 50-60 kDa Uniprot ID: P15309 Background: Acid phosphatase, prostate (ACPP1) is a non-specific tyrosine phosphatase that catalyzes the conversion of orthophosphoric monoester to alcohol and orthophosphate. ACPP1 is a 50-60 kD glycoprotein synthesized under androgen regulation and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland. An alternatively spliced transcript variant has been found for this gene. The isoform is longer, containing a transmembrane domain and it is localized in the plasma membrane-endosomal-lysosomal pathway. Other Names: ACPP, ACP3, ACP-3, 5’-NT, PAP, 5’-Nucleotidase, Ecto-5’-nucleotidase, Thiamine monophosphatase, TMPase, Prostatic acid phosphatase, PPAP Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human ACPP1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
Product Data: ![]() Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from mouse testis, using Ab (R0150-1) at RT for 2 h.The observed M.W.of ACPP1 is approximately 50-60 kD, likely dueto glycosylation.
