R2223-1 - TCF3 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 68 I 80 kDa Uniprot ID: P15923 Background: Transcription factor 3 (TCF3) is a member of the E protein (class I) family of helix-loop-helix transcription factors. E proteins activate transcription by binding to regulatory E-box sequences on target genes as heterodimers or homodimers, and are inhibited by heterodimerization with inhibitor of DNA-binding (class IV) helix-loop-helix proteins. E proteins play a critical role in lymphopoiesis, and TCF3 is required for B and T lymphocyte development. Deletion of this gene or diminished activity of TCF3 may play a role in lymphoid malignancies. The TCF3 gene is also involved in several chromosomal translocations that are associated with lymphoid malignancies including pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (t(1;19), with PBX1), childhood leukemia (t(19;19), with TFPT) and acute leukemia (t(12;19), with ZNF384). Other Names: Transcription factor E2-alpha, Class B basic helix-loop-helix protein 21, bHLHb21, Immunoglobulin enhancer-binding factor E12/E47, Immunoglobulin transcription factor 1, Kappa-E2-binding factor, Transcription factor 3, TCF-3, Transcription factor ITF-1, E2A, E47, ITF1, MGC129647, MGC129648, VDIR Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human TCF3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Product Data: A) mouse thymus; B) human HeLa; C) human Jurkat; using anti-TCF3 (N) (R2223-1) at RT for 2 h. |
