R0167-1 - BPTF (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 338 kDa Uniprot ID: Q12830 Background: BPTF (Bromodomain and PHD finger-containing transcription factor) is the histone-binding subunit of the nucleosome-remodeling factor (NURF) by recognizing H3 tails trimethylated on ‘Lys-4’ (H3K4me3) and marking transcription start sites of virtually all active genes. NURF is a complex that catalyzes ATP-dependent nucleosome sliding and facilitates transcription of chromatin. BPTF is ubiquitously expressed. Other Names: FAC1, FALZ Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human BPTF. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from mouse brain, using Ab (R0167-1) at RT for 2 h.
