Background:

Pericentriolar material 1 protein (PCM1) belongs to the PCM1 family and is required for centrosome assembly and function. PCM1 is essential for the correct localization of several centrosomal proteins including CEP250, CETN3, PCNT and NEK2. PCM1 is also required to anchor microtubules to the centrosome.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human PCM1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
