R0498-1 - SERPINA1 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 47 kDa Uniprot ID: P01009 Background: Alpha-1-antitrypsin (SERPINA1) belongs to the serpin family and is an inhibitor of serine proteases. Its primary target is elastase, but it also has a moderate affinity for plasmin and thrombin. SERPINA1 irreversibly inhibits trypsin, chymotrypsin and plasminogen activator. The aberrant form inhibits insulin-induced NO synthesis in platelets, decreases coagulation time and has proteolytic activity against insulin and plasmin. Other Names: Alpha-1-antitrypsin, Alpha-1 protease inhibitor, Alpha-1-antiproteinase, Serpin A, AAT, PI Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SERPINA1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from A, C) mouse brain, B, D) mouse thymus; using 2 independent Abs against 2 distinct regions of human SERPINA1 at RT for 2 h. |
