R2707-1 - EIF4A2 (N1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 46 kDa Uniprot ID: Q14240 Background: Eukaryotic initiation factor 4A-II (EIF4A2) belongs to the DEAD box helicase family and the eIF4A subfamily. EIF4A2 is an ATP-dependent RNA helicase which is a subunit of the eIF4F complex involved in cap recognition and is required for mRNA binding to ribosome. In the current model of translation initiation, eIF4A unwinds RNA secondary structures in the 5'-UTR of mRNAs which is necessary to allow efficient binding of the small ribosomal subunit, and subsequent scanning for the initiator codon. Other Names: Eukaryotic initiation factor 4A-II ATP-dependent RNA helicase eIF4A-2, DDX2B, EIF4F, eIF-4A-II Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human EIF4A2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: A) mouse brain, B) mouse thymus, C) human HeLa, D) human Jurkat; using anti-EIF4A2 (N1) (R2707-1) at RT for 2 h. |
