R2851-1 - TPM4 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 29 kDa Uniprot ID: P67936 Background: Tropomyosin alpha-4 chain (TPM4) belongs to the tropomyosin family and binds to actin filaments in muscle and non-muscle cells. TPM4 plays a central role, in association with the troponin complex, in the calcium dependent regulation of vertebrate striated muscle contraction. Smooth muscle contraction is regulated by interaction with caldesmon. TPM4 in non-muscle cells is implicated in stabilizing cytoskeleton actin filaments. Other Names: Tropomyosin alpha-4 chain, TM30p1, Tropomyosin-4 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human TPM4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: A) mouse thymus, B) human HeLa, C) human Jurkat; using anti-TPM4 (N) (R2851-1) at RT for 2 h. |
