Background:

Hairy/enhancer-of-split related with YRPW motif protein 2 (HEY2) belongs to the HEY family and is a downstream effector of Notch signaling which may be required for cardiovascular development. HEY2 is a transcriptional repressor which binds preferentially to the canonical E box sequence 5'-CACGTG-3'. HEY2 also represses transcription by the cardiac transcriptional activators GATA4 and GATA6.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human HEY2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
