Background:

Sister chromatid cohesion protein PDS5 homolog A (PDS5A) belongs to the PDS5 family and is a probable regulator of sister chromatid cohesion in mitosis which may stabilize cohesin complex association with chromatin. PDS5A may couple sister chromatid cohesion during mitosis to DNA replication. Cohesion ensures that chromosome partitioning is accurate in both meiotic and mitotic cells and plays an important role in DNA repair.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse PDS5A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
