Background:

Non-POU domain-containing octamer-binding protein (NONO) is a DNA- and RNA binding protein, involved in several nuclear processes. NONO binds the conventional octamer sequence in double-stranded DNA. NONO also binds single-stranded DNA and RNA at a site independent of the duplex site. Additionally, NONO is involved in pre-mRNA splicing, probably as a heterodimer with SFPQ.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing either the N-terminal [NONO (N) (R2509-1)] or the C-terminal [NONO (C) (R2509-2)] region of human NONO. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
