R0013-1 - PIAS3 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 68 kDa Uniprot ID: O54714
Background: Protein inhibitor of activated STAT3 (PIAS3) is a member of the PIAS proteins. The mammalian PIAS family is composed of four proteins: PIAS1, PIAS2 (PIASx), PIAS3, and PIAS4 (PIASy). PIAS proteins function as E3 small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) ligases, which facilitate the conjugation of SUMO to the specific protein substrates. PIAS3 has been shown to play important roles in the transcriptional regulation of various cellular pathways, including STAT, SMAD and the steroid hormone signaling pathways. The effects of this transcriptional co-regulation, transactivation or silencing, may vary depending upon the biological context. Other Names: Protein inhibitor of activated STAT protein 3 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse PIAS3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
