Background:

RBBP8 is a DNA endonuclease that cooperates with the MRN complex in processing meiotic and mitotic double-strand breaks by ensuring both resection and intrachromosomal association of the broken ends. RBBP8 promotes ATR and RPA recruitment to DSBs in S/G2 phase and facilitates the generation of ssDNA. RBBP8 may modulate the functions ascribed to BRCA1 in transcriptional regulation, DNA repair, and/or cell cycle checkpoint control.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human RBBP8. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
