R2531-1 - FOXL2 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 39 kDa Uniprot ID: P58012 Background: Forkhead box protein L2 (FOXL2) is a transcriptional regulator essential for ovary differentiation and maintenance, and repression of the genetic program for somatic testis determination. FOXL2 prevents trans-differentiation of ovary to testis through transcriptional repression of the Sertoli cell-promoting gene SOX9 (By similarity). FOXL2 also has apoptotic activity in ovarian cells and it suppresses ESR1-mediated transcription of PTGS2/COX2 stimulated by tamoxifen. FOXL2 is a regulator of CYP19 expression, and it participates in SMAD3-dependent transcription of FST via the intronic SMAD-binding element. Other Names: Forkhead box protein L2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human FOXL2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: human HeLa, using anti-FOXL2 (N) (R2531-1) at RT for 2 h. |
