R2557-1 - EXT2 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 82 kDa Uniprot ID: Q93063 Background: Exostosin-2 (EXT2) is one of two glycosyltransferase required for the biosynthesis of heparan-sulfate. The EXT1/EXT2 complex possesses substantially higher glycosyltransferase activity than EXT1 or EXT2 alone. EXT2 appears to be a tumor suppressor. Mutations in the EXT2 gene cause the type II form of multiple exostoses. Other Names: Exostosin-2, Glucuronosyl-N-acetylglucosaminyl-proteoglycan/N-acetylglucosaminyl-proteoglycan 4-alpha-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase, Multiple exostoses protein 2, Putative tumor suppressor protein EXT2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human EXT2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: A) human HeLa; B) human Jurkat, using anti-EXT2 (N) (R2557-1) at RT for 2 h. |
