R3389-2 - CPL1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted I Observed M.W.: 108 kDa Uniprot ID: Q5YDB6 Background: CPL1 processively dephosphorylates 'Ser-5' but not 'Ser-2' of the heptad repeats YSPTSPS in the C-terminal domain of the largest RNA polymerase II subunit (RPB1). This promotes the activity of RNA polymerase II. Together with CPL2, CPL1 is required for male gametes fertility. CPL1 is a multifunctional regulator that modulates plant growth, stress, and phytohormones responses. CPL1 is a negative regulator of stress gene transcription involved in abscisic acid (ABA) mediated and jasmonic acid (JA) mediated signaling pathways, NaCl, osmotic stress, wounding, and cold resistance. CPL1 regulates negatively the expression of jasmonic acid (JA) biosynthetic genes in response to wounding. Other Names: RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain phosphatase-like 1, FCP-like 1, Carboxyl-terminal phosphatase-like 1, AtCPL1, CTD phosphatase-like 1, Protein FIERY 2, Protein JASMONATE OVEREXPRESSING 1, JOE1, At4g21670, F17L22.130 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of arabidopsis thaliana CPL1 (AT4G21670). Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Arabidopsis thaliana Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
