Background:

Ring finger protein 219 (RNF219) contains one RING-type zinc finger, while its function is not well understood. It has been implicated as a novel modulators of Late-onset Alzheimer's disease (LOAD) associated amyloid beta A4 precursor protein (APP) endocytosis and metabolism. Furthermore, a genetic variant within RNF219 has been shown to affect amyloid deposition in human brain and LOAD age-of-onset [Rhinn H. et al., Nature (2013) 500:45-50].

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human RNF219. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
