R3225-3 - DAND5 (M2) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 20 I 28 kDa Uniprot ID: Q76LW6 Background: DAN domain family member 5 (DAND5) is a member of the BMP (bone morphogenic protein) antagonist family and the CAN (cerberus and dan) subfamily, characterized by a C-terminal cystine knot with an eight-membered ring. Like BMPs, BMP antagonists contain cystine knots and typically form homo- and heterodimers. The antagonistic effect of DAND5 is likely due to its direct binding to BMP proteins. DAND5 may play a role in regulating organogenesis, body patterning, and tissue differentiation. In mouse, DAND5 has been shown to bind Nodal and to inhibit the Nodal signaling pathway which patterns left/right body asymmetry. Other Names: DAN domain family member 5, Cerberus-like protein 2, Cerl-2, Cerl2, Sp1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of mouse DAND5. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: from mouse brain; using anti-DAND5 (M2) (R3225-3)at RT for 2 h. |
