R3228-2 - STK19 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 41 I 29 kDa Uniprot ID: P49842 Background: Serine/threonine-protein kinase 19 (STK19) is a serine/threonine kinase localizes predominantly to the nucleus. Its specific function is unknown; it is possible that phosphorylation of STK19 is involved in transcriptional regulation. STK19 can phosphorylate casein-alpha on serine and threonine residues and histones on serine residues in vitro. The STK19 gene localizes to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class III region on chromosome 6 and expresses two transcript variants. Other Names: Serine/threonine-protein kinase 19, Protein G11, Protein RP1, G11, RP1 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human STK19. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts fromA) human HeLa, B) human Jurkat; using anti-STK19 (C) (R3228-2) at RT for 2 h. This Ab may recognize the 29 kD isoform of STK19. |
