R3341-1 - USP16 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 94 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9Y5T5 Background: Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 16 (USP16) is a deubiquitinating enzyme that is phosphorylated at the onset of mitosis and then dephosphorylated at the metaphase/anaphase transition. USP16 can deubiquitinate H2A, one of two major ubiquitinated proteins of chromatin, in vitro and a mutant form of the protein was shown to block cell division. Other Names: Ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 16, Deubiquitinating enzyme 16, Ubiquitin thioesterase 16, Ubiquitin-processing protease UBP-M, Ubiquitin-specific-processing protease 16, MSTP039 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human USP16. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: A) mouse brain, B) human HeLa; using anti-USP16 (N) (R3341-1) at RT for 2 h. |
