Background:

Wings apart-like protein homolog (WAPAL) is a regulator of sister chromatid cohesion in mitosis,  which negatively regulates cohesin association with chromatin. WAPAL is involved in both sister chromatid cohesion during interphase and sister-chromatid resolution during early stages of mitosis. WAPAL couples DNA replication to sister chromatid cohesion, which ensures that chromosome partitioning is accurate in both meiotic and mitotic cells; therefore, WAPAL plays an important role in DNA repair.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human WAPAL. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
