Background:

Zinc finger, DHHC-type containing 7 (ZDHHC7) is a Palmitoyltransferase with broad specificity. ZDHHC7 palmitoylates SNAP25 and DLG4/PSD95, as well as sex steroid hormone receptors, including ESR1, PGR and AR, thereby regulating their targeting to the plasma membrane and their function in rapid intracellular signaling upon binding of sex hormones. ZDHHC7 may play a role in follicle stimulation hormone (FSH) activation of testicular Sertoli cells.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human ZDHHC7. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
