R2035-2 - ZC3H12A (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 66 kDa Uniprot ID: Q5D1E8
Background: Zinc finger CCCH domain-containing protein 12A (ZC3H12A) is a bifunctional enzyme with both endoribonuclease and deubiquitinase activities involved in various biological functions such as cellular inflammatory response and immune homeostasis, glial differentiation of neuroprogenitor cells, cell death of cardiomyocytes, adipogenesis and angiogenesis. ZC3H12A functions as an endoribonuclease involved in mRNA decay. ZC3H12A modulates the inflammatory response by promoting the degradation of a set of translationally active cytokine-induced inflammation-related mRNAs, such as IL6 and IL12B, during the early phase of inflammation. ZC3H12A also prevents aberrant T-cell-mediated immune reaction by degradation of multiple mRNAs controlling T-cell activation, such as those encoding cytokines (IL6 and IL2), cell surface receptors (ICOS, TNFRSF4 and TNFR2) and transcription factor (REL). Other Names: Bifunctional endoribonuclease and deubiquitinase ZC3H12A, Monocyte chemotactic protein-induced protein 1, MCP-induced protein 1, MCPIP-1, Regnase-1, Reg1, MCPIP1, Zinc finger CCCH domain-containing protein 12A Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human ZC3H12A. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
