Background:

Interleukin 21 (IL21) is a cytokine with immunoregulatory activity.  It plays a role between innate and adaptive immunity.  Working with IL15 it may play a role in proliferation and maturation of natural killer (NK) cells.  IL21 may regulate the proliferation of mature B- and T-cells in response to activating stimuli.  It stimulates interferon gamma production in T-cells and NK cells.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human IL21, which is a distinct region from the antigen for IL21 (C) (R0130-1).  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
