Background:

C-X-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CXCR2) is a multi-pass membrane protein, which belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. CXCR2 is the receptor for interleukin-8, a powerful neutrophil chemotactic factor. Binding of IL-8 to CXCR2 causes activation of neutrophils, and this response is mediated via a G-protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. CXCR2 binds to IL-8 with high affinity, and it also binds to CXCL3, GRO/MGSA and NAP-2.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human CXCR2.  Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:
