Background:

BHLHE40 is a basic helix-loop-helix protein expressed in various tissues and is induced by Bt2cAMP in chondrocytes. BHLHE40 is believed to be involved in the control of cell differentiation. It may function as a transcriptional factor to modulate chondrogenesis and neuronal differentiation. BHLHE40 Interacts with ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme UBE2I/UBC9, which may lead to proteasomal degradation.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of mouse BHLHE40. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
