Background:

DNA helicase INO80 is a main scaffold component of the chromatin remodeling INO80 complex involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and probably DNA repair. The involvement of INO80 in DNA double-strand break repair appears to be largely indirect through transcriptional regulation.  INO80 is recruited by YY1 to YY1-activated genes, where it binds to DNA and acts as an essential coactivator.  INO80 has double stranded DNA-dependent ATPase activity in vitro. INO80 is involved in UV-damage excision repair, DNA replication and chromosome segregation during normal cell division cycle.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human INO80. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
