R0541-3 - GSK3B (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 47 kDa Uniprot ID: P49841 Background: Glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta (GSK3B) is a serine-threonine kinase, belonging to the glycogen synthase kinase subfamily. It is involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. GSK3B participates in the Wnt signaling pathway, and it may be required for early embryo development and neuron differentiation. Polymorphisms in this gene have been implicated in modifying risk of Parkinson disease, and studies in mice show that overexpression of this gene may be relevant to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease. Other Names: Glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta, GSK-3 beta, Serine/threonine-protein kinase GSK3B Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human GSK3B. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of (A) human HeLa nuclear extract, (B) human 293T total cell extract, using Ab (R0541-3) at RT for 2 h.
