R0442-2 - DMAP1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 53 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9NPF5 Background: DNA methyltransferase 1-associated protein 1 (DMAP1) is a subunit of several distinct complexes involved in the repression or activation of transcription. DMAP1 can independently repress transcription and is targeted to replication foci throughout S phase by interacting directly with the N-terminus of DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1). During late S phase, histone deacetylase 2 (HDAC2) is added to this complex, providing a means to deacetylate histones in transcriptionally inactive heterochromatin following replication. DMAP1 is also a component of the nucleosome acetyltransferase of H4 complex and interacts with the transcriptional corepressor tumor susceptibility gene 101 and the pro-apoptotic death-associated protein 6, among others. Other Names: DNA methyltransferase 1-associated protein 1, DNMAP1, DNMT1-associated protein 1, KIAA1425 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human DMAP1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
