R0754-1 - HOXA9 (N1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted M.W.: 30 kDa Uniprot ID: P31269 Background: In vertebrates, the genes encoding the class of transcription factors called homeobox genes are found in clusters named A, B, C, and D on four separate chromosomes. Expression of these proteins is spatially and temporally regulated during embryonic development. HOXA9 is part of the A cluster on chromosome 7 and encodes a sequence-specific DNA-binding transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. HOXA9 is highly similar to the abdominal-B (Abd-B) gene of Drosophila. A specific translocation event which causes a fusion between HOXA9 and NUP98 has been associated with myeloid leukemogenesis. Other Names: Homeobox protein Hox-A9, Homeobox protein Hox-1G, HOX1G, ABD-B, HOX1, HOX1.7 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human HOXA9. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:1,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
