Background:

Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-B (FCGR3B) is a receptor for the Fc region of immunoglobulin gamma. It is a low affinity receptor. It binds to complexed or aggregated IgG and also monomeric IgG. Contrary to III-A, FCGR3B is not capable of mediating antibody-dependent cytotoxicity and phagocytosis. It may serve as a trap for immune complexes in the peripheral circulation which does not activate neutrophils.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human FCGR3B. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
