Background:

Endoglin (ENG) is a homodimeric transmembrane protein, which is a major glycoprotein of the vascular endothelium and may play a critical role in the binding of endothelial cells to integrins and/or other RGD receptors. ENG is a component of the transforming growth factor beta  (TGF) receptor complex and it binds TGFB1 and TGFB3 with high affinity. Mutations in this gene cause hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, also known as Osler-Rendu-Weber syndrome 1, an autosomal dominant multisystemic vascular dysplasia.

Other Names:

Endoglin, CD105, END

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human ENG. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.

Species Specificity:

Human

Tested Applications:

WB: 1:500-1:1,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
