Product Introduction:

vPair^TM antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. Background:

Mannosyl-oligosaccharide 1,2-alpha-mannosidase IA (MAN1A1) is a type II transmembrane protein that belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 47 family. It is involved in the maturation of Asn-linked oligosaccharides. MAN1A1 catalyzes the hydrolysis of the terminal (1->2)-linked alpha-D-mannose residues in the oligo-mannose oligosaccharide Man(9)-GlcNAc(2). It progressively trims alpha-1,2-linked mannose residues from Man(9)GlcNAc(2) to produce Man(5)GlcNAc(2).

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing two distinct N-terminal regions [MAN1a1 (N1) (R0953-1); MAN1a1 (N2) (R0953-2)] of human MAN1a1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
