R0922-2 - E4F1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 83 | 120 kDa Uniprot ID: Q66K89 Background: Transcription factor E4F1 may function as a transcriptional repressor. It may also function as a ubiquitin ligase mediating ubiquitination of chromatin-associated TP53. E4F1 functions in cell survival and proliferation through the control of the cell cycle. It functions in the p53 and pRB tumor suppressor pathways and regulates the cyclin CCNA2 transcription. It is identified as a cellular target of the adenoviral oncoprotein E1A, and it is required for both transcriptional activation and repression of viral genes. Other Names: Transcription factor E4F1, E4F transcription factor 1, Putative E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase E4F1, Transcription factor E4F, p120E4F, p50E4F, E4F Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human E4F1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
