R0949-1 - CADM4 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 43 | 64 kDa Uniprot ID: Q8NFZ8 Background: Cell adhesion molecule 4 (CADM4) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the nectin family. It is involved in the cell-cell adhesion. It has calcium- and magnesium-independent cell-cell adhesion activity, and may have tumor-suppressor activity. It is expressed at the cell-cell attachment sites in the renal tubules, the transitional epithelia of the bladder, and the glandular epithelia of the prostate. Expression of CADM4 was lost or markedly reduced in many human glioma cell lines or some prostate cancer cell lines, suggesting that loss of expression of these genes might be involved in some human cancers. Other Names: Cell adhesion molecule 4, Immunoglobulin superfamily member 4C, Nectin-like protein 4, IgSF4C, NECL-4, TSLC1-like protein 2, IGSF4C, NECL4, TSLL2 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human CADM4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:1,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
