Background:

Zinc fingers and homeoboxes protein 2 (ZHX2) is a nuclear protein that belongs to the ZHX family. ZHX2 acts as a transcriptional repressor. It represses the promoter activity of the CDC25C gene stimulated by NFYA. It interacts with the A subunit of nuclear factor-Y (NF-YA) and contain two C2H2-type zinc fingers and five homeobox DNA-binding domains. ZHX2 forms homodimers (via a homeobox domain). It also heterodimerizes with ZHX1 (via the HD1 domain).

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human ZHX2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
