R0441-4 - MYST2 (C1) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 71 | 85 kDa Uniprot ID: O95251 Background: Histone acetyltransferase KAT7/MYST2 belongs to the MYST (SAS/MOZ) family. MYST2 is a component of the HBO1 complex which has a histone H4-specific acetyltransferase activity, a reduced activity toward histone H3 and is responsible for the bulk of histone H4 acetylation in vivo. Through chromatin acetylation MYST2 may regulate DNA replication and act as a coactivator of TP53-dependent transcription. It specifically represses AR-mediated transcription. Other Names: Histone acetyltransferase KAT7, KAT7, Histone acetyltransferase binding to ORC1, Lysine acetyltransferase 7, MOZ, YBF2/SAS3, SAS2 and TIP60 protein 2, MYST-2, HBO1, HBOa Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human MYST2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:1,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) human Jurkat and (B) mouse thymus, using Ab (R0441-4) at RT for 2 h. |
