Background:

NGFI-A-binding protein 2 (NAB2) belongs to the NAB family. NAB2 acts as a transcriptional repressor for zinc finger transcription factors EGR1 and EGR2. The first conserved domain of NAB2 mediates an interaction with the R1 domain of NGFI-A. NAB2 represses the activity of both NGFI-A and Krox20, and its expression is regulated by some of the same stimuli that induce NGFI-A expression, including serum and nerve growth factor.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human NAB2. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
