Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted | Observed MW: 53 kDa Uniprot ID: Q9UHC7
Background:
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase makorin-1 (MKRN1) catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin moieties onto substrate proteins. These substrates include FILIP1, p53/TP53, CDKN1A and TERT. MKRN1 supports cell survival by suppressing p53/TP53 under normal conditions, but stimulates apoptosis by repressing CDKN1A under stress conditions. MKRN1 acts as a negative regulator of telomerase and has negative and positive effects on RNA polymerase II-dependent transcription.
Other Names:
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase makorin-1, RING finger protein 61, RNF61
Source and Purity:
Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human MKRN1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Species Specificity:
Human, Mouse
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
