vPair^TM antibodies represent a pair of fully characterized antibodies that recognize two different regions of a target protein. The use of a pair of fully characterized vPair^TM antibodies in the same assay can validate signal specificity since vPair^TM antibodies recognize two independent epitopes of the same protein. Background:

TET3 is a methylcytosine dioxygenase that catalyzes the conversion of methylcytosine (5mC) to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC), and may play a role in DNA demethylation. TET3 is a member of the ten-eleven translocation (TET) gene family.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal and Mouse monoclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing either the N terminal [TET3 (N1) (R1092-1)] or 2 distinct C-terminal regions [TET3 (C1) (R1092-2c) and TET3 (C3) (R1092-3)] of human TET3. Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Mouse monoclonal antibodies were provided as ascites. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Mouse monoclonal antibodies were supplied as ascites containing 40% Glycerol and 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
