M1086-1 - TET2 Antibody, Mouse Monoclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB, IP Predicted M.W.: 224 kDa Uniprot ID: Q6N021 Isotype: Mouse IgM Clone: 12C2 Background: TET2 is a methylcytosine dioxygenase that catalyzes the conversion of methylcytosine (5mC) to 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC). 5-hydroxymethylcytosine may influence chromatin structure and recruit specific factors or may constitute an intermediate component in cytosine demethylation. TET2 plays an important role in myelopoiesis, and defects in TET2 gene have been associated with several myeloproliferative disorders. Other Names: Methylcytosine dioxygenase TET2, KIAA1546 Source and Purity: Mouse monoclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with GST-fusion proteins containing multiple regions of human TET2, and provided as ascites. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied as ascites containing 40% Glycerol and 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 (detect endogenous protein*) IP: 1:50 – 1:100 *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. (A) Western blot of total cell extracts from a. human Jurkat, b. mouse thymus, using monoclonal anti-TET2 (M1086-1) at RT for 2 h. (B) IP-Western. Total extracts from mouse thymus were immunoprecipitated with a. anti-TET1 (M1084-1), b. anti-TET2 (M1086-1), c. anti-TET3 (M1092-3); followed by WB with rabbit polyclonal anti-TET2 (R1086-1a) at RT for 2 h.
