Background:

Fanconi anemia group C protein (FANCC) belongs to the multisubunit FA complex composed of FANCA, FANCB, FANCC, FANCE, FANCF, FANCG, FANCL/PHF9 and FANCM. FANCC is a DNA repair protein that may operate in a postreplication repair or a cell cycle checkpoint function. FANCC may be implicated in interstrand DNA cross-link repair and in the maintenance of normal chromosome stability. Upon IFNG induction, FANCC may facilitate STAT1 activation by recruiting STAT1 to IFNGR1. Defects in FANCC are the cause of Fanconi anemia complementation group C (FANCC).

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human FANCC. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
