R1378-1 - SOX5 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 84 I 75 kDa Uniprot ID: P35711 Background: Transcription factor SOX5 is a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. SOX5 may act as a transcriptional regulator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. SOX5 binds specifically to the DNA sequence 5'-AACAAT-3', and activates transcription of COL2A1 and AGC1 in vitro. SOX5 may also play a role in chondrogenesis. Several isoforms of SOX5 have been identified. Transcription factor SOX-5, SRY (sex determining region Y)-box 5, L-SOX5 Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human SOX5. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:500-1:2,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from(A) human Jurkat; (B) mouse thymus; using anti-SOX5 (N) (R1378-1) at RT for 2 h. |
