Background:

C-C chemokine receptor type 3 (CCR3) is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. CCR3 is a receptor for a C-C type chemokine. Binds to eotaxin, eotaxin-3, MCP-3, MCP-4, RANTES and MIP-1 delta. CCR3 subsequently transduces a signal by increasing the intracellular calcium ions level. CCR3 is an alternative coreceptor with CD4 for HIV-1 infection.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the middle region of human CCR3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
