R1195-2 - STAT6 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted I Observed M.W.: 94 kDa Uniprot ID: P42226 Background: Signal transducer and activator of transcription 6 (STAT6) is a member of the transcription factor STAT family involved in interleukin-4 signalling. STAT6 contains one SH2 domain and carries out a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. Upon stimulations such as IL-4 and IL-3, STAT6 is Tyrosine-phosphorylated, forms a homodimer or a heterodimer with a related family member and translocates into the nucleus, where it binds to DNA and activates transcription of downstream genes. Other Names: Signal transducer and activator of transcription 6, IL-4 STAT Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human STAT6. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) human Jurkat, (B) human T47D; using anti-STAT6 (C) (R1195-2) at RT for 2 h.
