Background:

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase DTX1 Belongs to the Deltex family and functions as an ubiquitin ligase protein in vivo, mediating ubiquitination and promoting degradation of MEKK1. DTX1 is a regulator of Notch signaling, a signaling pathway involved in cell-cell communications that regulates a broad spectrum of cell-fate determinations. DTX1 mainly acts as a positive regulator of Notch, but it also acts as a negative regulator, depending on the developmental and cell context. DTX1 mediates the antineural activity of Notch, possibly by inhibiting the transcriptional activation mediated by MATCH1. DTX1 is involved in neurogenesis, lymphogenesis and myogenesis, and may also be involved in MZB (Marginal zone B) cell differentiation. DTX1 promotes B-cell development at the expense of T-cell development, suggesting that it can antagonize NOTCH1.

Other Names:

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase DTX1, Protein deltex-1, Deltex1, hDTX1

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human DTX1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.

Species Specificity:

Human, Mouse

Tested Applications:

WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*)

*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
