R0720-3 - GATA1 (C) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB Predicted | Observed MW: 43 kDa Uniprot ID: P15976
Background: Erythroid transcription factor (GATA1) is a transcriptional activator which probably serves as a general switch factor for erythroid development. GATA1 binds to DNA sites with the consensus sequence [AT]GATA[AG] within regulatory regions of globin genes and of other genes expressed in erythroid cells. Defects in GATA1 are the cause of X-linked dyserythropoietic anemia and thrombocytopenia (XDAT), of X-linked thrombocytopenia with beta-thalassemia (XLTT), and anemia without thrombocytopenia X-linked (XLAWT). Other Names: Erythroid transcription factor, Eryf1, GATA-binding factor 1, GATA-1, GF-1, GF1, NF-E1 DNA-binding protein Source and Purity: Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human GATA1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. Storage Buffer and Condition: Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt. Species Specificity: Human, Mouse Tested Applications: WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*) *: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications. Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from (A) mouse brain, (B) mouse thymus; using anti-GATA1 (C) (R0720-3) at RT for 2 h.
