Background:

POU3F4 is a member of the POU-III class of neural transcription factors. POU3F4 exert its primary action widely during early neural development and in a very limited set of neurons in the mature brain. POU3F4 may play a role in the mediation of epigenetic signals which induce striatal neuron-precursor differentiation. Mutations in POU3F4 have been associated with X chromosome-linked nonsyndromic mixed deafness.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human POU3F4. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
