Background:

Fascin (FSCN1) belongs to the fascin family and organizes filamentous actin into bundles with a minimum of 4.1:1 actin/fascin ratio. FSCN1 plays a role in the organization of actin filament bundles and the formation of microspikes, membrane ruffles, and stress fibers. FSCN1 is important for the formation of a diverse set of cell protrusions, such as filopodia, and for cell motility and migration.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the C-terminal region of human FSCN1. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
