R2103-1 - ZNF521 (N) Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal
|
Quantity: 100 ul Application: WB
Predicted I Observed M.W.: 148 kDa Uniprot ID: Q6KAS7
Background:
Zinc finger protein 521 (ZNF521) is a transcription factor that can both act as an activator or a repressor depending on the context. It is involved in BMP signaling and in the regulation of the immature compartment of the hematopoietic system. ZNF521 is associates with SMADs in response to BMP2 leading to transcriptional activation of BMP target genes. ZNF521 also acts as a transcriptional repressor via its interaction with EBF1, a transcription factor involved in the specification of B-cell lineage; this interaction preventing EBF1 from binding to DNA and activating target genes.
Other Names:
Zinc finger protein 521, Ecotropic viral integration site 3 protein, Evi3, Zfp521, ZFP521, EVI3
Source and Purity:
Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of mouse ZNF521. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen.
Storage Buffer and Condition:
Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN3. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
Tested Applications:
WB: 1:1,000-1:3,000 (detect endogenous protein*)
*: The apparent protein size on WB may be different from the calculated M.W. due to modifications.
Species Specificity:
Human, Mouse Product Data: Fig 1. Western blot of total cell extracts from mouse brain, using anti-ZNF521 (N) (R2103-1) at RT for 2 h.
