Background:

UBA3 is the catalytic subunit of the dimeric UBA3-NAE1 E1 enzyme that activates NEDD8, an ubiquitin-like protein, which regulates cell division, signaling and embryogenesis. UBA3 contains an E2 binding domain, which resembles ubiquitin, and recruits the catalytic core of the E2 enzyme UBE2M (Ubc12) in a similar manner to that in which ubiquitin interacts with ubiquitin binding domains. UBA3 is ubiquitously expressed.

Source and Purity:

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies were produced by immunizing animals with a GST-fusion protein containing the N-terminal region of human UBA3. Antibodies were purified by affinity purification using immunogen. 

Storage Buffer and Condition:

Supplied in 1 x PBS (pH 7.4), 100 ug/ml BSA, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% NaN₃. Store at -20 °C. Stable for 6 months from date of receipt.
